Sibling-date: Rival becoming Partner

Old Sister and Her Bodyguard

When I was a child, Mom said -i know this from her diary- that I really took care of my brother, who two years younger than me. I would be angry if anyone else touched him. Hmm, It was sweet to be heard.

But the tenderness didn't eternal. I remember, at our childhood we always fight, argue and mock. Blaming one to another. Even I ever wished he die first or go somewhere and never coming back. I really hated him all the way he breathes. As I told you about my brother thru this post, he was totally sucks! We fighted like dog and cat. Sometimes my Mom would say this to us, "Here take the knives, both of you fighting with it!"

The Avenue at Central Jakarta

Ha-ha.
Ooo, come on! It was not as that bad as you think. We were around elementary grade at the time. You know, a childish emotion.

I don't remember the time certainly when it began, day by day we were becoming unified. Just the way brother-sister goals, my friend said.
Okey, let me remember. Hmm, maybe... at the time... when I was at SHS and he was at JHS. We often went outside on the night with our friends. Yaa, some of his friends are mine, and otherwise.

Then, the time was coming for me to leave our home to study in college. It is about seven hour from our home. Distance and time teach us to be a wiser person. No argues anymore.

We've been in long waiting for this chance: Taking a walk together around the city, talking, capturing, Sibling-dating. That day, several months after my graduation day and Yustin was in his days off, the rare occasion we had had.

In front of main building of Galeri Nasional

Our route was only around Central Jakarta. I admit that it is a bit difficult to find an anti-mainstream destination in Jakarta. I remembered to Planetarium which I haven't visit yet, and Galeri Nasional I often saw on instagram. So, those places would be our main destinations. We are not the native in this city, so it is natural if we didn't mastered the location. We arrived at Gambir shellter. It is near with National Monument (Monas). But we ignored Monas to make it as our first destination.

We were so excited when we found this embassy. This is a prayer!

As shown at Google Maps, we knew that Galeri Nasional is also near with Gambir. Then we took a walk to reach the place. Do you know, it was no matter for us traveling the area by foot. It was nice and fun. We were not lucky yet, the galery was close and would be open around two hours above. It was at noon, perhaps the officers were taking a rest. We are the instagram user by the way. The atmosphere around the galery was so pretty, calm, vintage and instagramable to be our updated feeds. And we did it, photo session.

Love the combination of the white wall and the plantation

The galery was too long to be waited to re-open. We decided to take a walk again to Taman Ismail Marzuki where the Planetarium located. OMG, out of our expectations, the place was far and made us tired. But, we enjoyed the trip. We were talking, sharing, caring, and capturing each other.

Here are some photos we took at the Planetarium Taman Ismail Marzuki. It is a cool place to learn about astronomy, especially for student. Hope someday I (or we) will invite our young sister, Caecilia, to this place.

A day-dream to travel the world

That good day was spent well by sharing. The topic we discussed becomes more qualified. Family, mom and dad, future, hobbies, traveling, collage, achievement, dreams! It was totally different from our childhood.

On the way back to Monas

Yustin was a kind brother at the day. Patient, royal, obey for his sister wishes and commands. We really enjoyed our trip. Hungry? Bought snacks. Thristy? Bought baverages. Wanna watch the show at Planetarium? Got the ticket. I am sure he is thankful for I am being his sister. Strong, adventurous, un-childlike. Hehe.

We thought, will we keep support each other until we gray? As we know, sometimes, the relation among the merried-brother  and merried-sister will be changed by their couple influence. I hope it won't be happen on us.

The day we close by a failed-reaching-to-the-top-floor-of-Monas, again. But we were not give up. Keep capturing!

We did it, sibling-date
